Robyn Scott 2:00PM - 3:00PM

Born and raised in the Belleville area, Robyn enjoyed years in the Hasting’s County Board of Education’s Concert Choir. Near the end of high school, she took a trip to Nashville with Gary Buck to record her first single released to radio named “Ain’t That Enough”. After one more trip with Gary and a few more singles, Robyn recorded a full length album “Take the Next One Back” produced by Thomas Wade in Oshawa. This led to some healthy radio play across Canada. She has enjoyed performing over the years at festivals and fairs such as the Havelock Jamboree and the Quinte Exhibition. Robyn took time from the music scene to raise her family. Now that her three children are older she has been dipping back into music again. She has taken up the guitar and started writing her own songs and performs regularly in a mix of classic, traditional, and today’s country. Robyn was invited to produce and host Sunday Morning Classics on CJBQ, the AM radio station owned by Quinte Broadcasting, a high profile radio enterprise with the deepest history in the Quinte region. Her show can be heard Sunday mornings from 8am until noon. An engaging performer with an uncommon vocal range rich in character, Robyn continues to attract fans from near and far.

Julie Simpson/Brian Cosbey 3:00PM - 4:00PM

Julie was born and raised down on the farm and country music was all around her.  She has been singing with various bands and as a single act for over 30 years, performing from sea to shining sea.  Julie was blessed to sing and record in Nashville, a time or two, won a National Country singing contest at the CNE in '89.  Julie has 3 CD's out.  She considers herself blessed to have experienced everything musically that she has, and is truly grateful that she is still asked to sing at these wonderful Jamborees.

For over 40 years, Brian Cosbey has been singing and playing instruments such as guitar, dobro and fiddle.  Born near Springbrook, ON, he was raised a country boy.  Brian has recorded 3 CD's and has always enjoyed the fellowship of music.  You can count on Brian to lend a hand to other musicians with his deep voice or by playing backup.  He believes Jamborees are the perfect place to get together and celebrate Classic Country Music.

James’ love of Country music goes way back to his pre-teen years. Though in those early years he performed in a number of musical groups from West Indie Reggae, Portuguese Rock, to just plain Rock and Roll, his love for the classics of Country were never far from his heart.

In his early 20’s James ventured out on the road with some fantastic musicians and traveled across Canada performing at some of the largest night spots of the time. An experience like no other. James has had the pleasure of being a part of some great shows over the years opening for a fair number of top acts as well as being part of some great song writing sessions with some amazing song writers in Nashville and elsewhere.
